Welcome to Highlight Monday! I hope your weekend was good. If you are working on a card or anything crafty, please feel free to share in the comments below. Do you have a special place to craft? When I first started making cards, I did it in my bedroom on my bed. I enjoy my craft room but, I felt happy in my bedroom. Please do not fall for the more stuff you have, the better your card-making will be. Also, do not wait until you can get more stamps and tools before you begin. I have seen some pretty cards with just a few supplies. I encourage you to get some paper and whatever card-making supplies you have and start creating.

In today’s card, we will be making a blacked stamp stand out. We will be using a few techniques to achieve that. I guess it’s best to tell you the steps and go from there. I am going to grab a cup of coffee and meet you in my craft room.

Word of the Day

The word of today is cherished. Some people cherish their homes, car, job, mind, life, money, family, friends, and the list can go on and on. What do you cherish? What can you live without? Do you sit around and think of the things that you cherish? Do you know why you cherish something? Do you ever think about what makes something worth cherishing? The reason I am asking these questions is that I do not have the answers. I will leave you to think about these things.

It was great spending time with you today. I hope you have a great week and will return. Take time to craft and create.
